Writing.

My Holidays in La Molina.

During my holildays I have been in La Molina. Every day the plan was more or less the same. But two days are special because I went to funny places.

Every day, in the morning, I have skied hard and then I have been to the restaurant or at home or lunch. After that, I have been sleeping one hour because I was very tired. Every morning I get up a seven and the ski traing was hard with a lot of new snow. My legs were destroyed!

In the spedial day, in the afternoon, I went to practice ice hockey in Andorra. It's very nice but I fell down a many times.

On the second day, in the afternoon, I went up to the mountain Tossa d'alp. I heed my dinner together with my friends and in the night I went down skiing. It was a funny sesation to ski under the moon.

The Empire State Building is situated in the center of New York. It was designed by Gregory Johnson and it was built between 1930. Some important people are buried there. The Empire is made of white stone. From the outside it is a big building. Inside, it has got many floors. The rooms are very big and very wonderful. I haven't visited the Empire but I would love to.

INTRODUCTION:

Hy I'm Marc and I study on the Casa Nostra Escola.
In my oral presentation I talk about American culture. I talk about this because is very characteristic culture.
But in this oral presentation I focus in the most important city: NEW YORK. I talk about this city because is most important city and is very interesting for my.
First I talk about the most important monuments.



CULTURE:

New York is the most popular city in United States. The city is most important for the monuments and the costumes. For example The Liberty Tower, the Empire Estates, the houses of Brooklyn and the some important parks for example the Central Park. But now I talk about the Central Park and The Empire States.


CENTRAL PARK:

The Central Park is a very public park in the New York city. Is cituate in the metropolitan area in the Manhatan, the extention of the park is the 3,41km². This park is visited for 25milion persons every year.
In this park i film a lot of films because is the first important park in the world.
It's formed for very longs gardens and very grass. The most important and the bigest garden is the Great Lawn.
This park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux.
There there are many lakes and two ice skating.
And the most important animal is the squirrel.


EMPIRE STATES:

The Empire States Building is a skyskraper in the New York city.
This monument is situated in fiveth aveniu.
The Empire was designed by Gregory Johnson and yours architecture company.
Height of the Empire States is 448,7 m and 120 flors.
The cost of this building is the USD 40,948,900.

Learning Reflection.

In my opinion I work but I could have work more. In the computers class I could work a lot. I had all the homework. In the class exams I studied normally but the marks are very well.
In the first part of the 3th of ESO I worked a lot. My oral presentation was horrible because I didn't prepare a lot.

INTRODUCTION.

In this project I talk about the ski because ski is my favorite sport and I like skiing I stared to sky when I three years old.



A PROFILE OF A FAMOUS SPORT.

Ski has existed since 1908, but its origins are more than 100 years old. It started in Catalonia, but now there are clubs in more than one million countries. It is the most popular snow sport in the world.

The biggest international Skiing competition is the Spanish Championship since 1980. Women have competed in this championship since 1985. Ski also became an Olympic sport in 1950.

One of my favorite competitors is Body Miller. Body became world champion in her class in 2004,2005,2007 and 2008. He was the first Austrian man to win a gold medal in the Olympic Games.


BIOGRAPHY OF A FAMOUS SPORT PLAYER.

Body Miller was born on 9th January 1970. She grew up in New York, USA.

He competed in his first race when he was 7 years old.

He went to the Austria because he wanted practice to ski.

When Body was young he appeared in a news paper. In 2000 he to sign up in ATOMIC club because he win the World Cup.

This week in our We are the champions section we interview Body Miller a winner world ski race.

When did you start to practice this sport?

I started to ski when I was very young I was only three years old.


What do you prefer ATOMIC or HEAD?

I prefer head because It's better. Atomic too but the skies are harder.

How did you feel when I was the World Cup?

Well I was very happy but my dream was to win the world cup and this day the dream became true.

Hi Quim,
I'm writing this email from the Italian alps. The weather is really cold at the moment but I really like it here because the people are very happy. We're driving around the country and we're stopping in same places.

We've just arrived here in Turin. In the last few days we've driven with fantastic forests and we've seen some beautiful animals. So far I've really enjoyed the flood and we haven't had any experiences.

Tonight we're staying in a small town near the city of Turin. Tomorrow we're going to leave the car here and we're going to travel by helicopter through the Alps Mountains. It should be fun.
