Ski has existed since 1908, but its origins are more than 100 years old. It started in Catalonia, but now there are clubs in more than one million countries. It is the most popular snow sport in the world.
The biggest international Skiings competition is the Spain Championship since 1980. Women have competed in the championship since 1985. Ski also became an Olympic sport in 1950.
One of my favorite competitors is Body Miller. Bode became world champion in her class in 2004, 2005,2007 and 2008. He was the first Austrian man win a gold medal in the Olympic Games.
